Waterproofing is more than just a protective finish—it’s a crucial layer that defends your structure from water damage, leaks, and deterioration over time. At Radiant Construction Chemicals, we’ve developed ConFlex 511, a high-performance, two-component waterproofing system designed to deliver long-lasting protection across a wide range of applications, including residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
This guide will walk you through the proper method of applying ConFlex 511 to ensure you achieve optimal results and long-term waterproofing performance.
ConFlex 511 is a two-part, cementitious waterproofing system formulated for flexibility, strength, and durability. It consists of:
Part A: A high-quality cement-based powder enriched with chemical additives for enhanced performance.
Part B: A liquid polymer which enhance flexibility, bonding strength, and water resistance.
When mixed, the components form a smooth, brush able slurry that creates a seamless, watertight membrane over concrete and masonry surfaces.
ConFlex 511 is an effective waterproofing solutions for various structures:
Roofs and terraces
Bathrooms and wet areas
Water tanks (internal and external surfaces)
Basements and retaining walls
Podiums, balconies, and lift pits
Swimming pools and other submerged surfaces
Proper surface preparation is essential for effective waterproofing.
surface cleaning: Enusure all dust, grease, dirt, old coatings, or any loose particles are removed before application.
Check substrate: Ensure the surface is structurally sound and slightly damp—avoid overly wet or waterlogged conditions.
Repair defects: Use Radiant ConRep FR Mortar to fill cracks, voids, and damaged areas before applying ConFlex 511.
to start with pour the Part B into a clean container.
Add Part A gradually: While stirring continuously, slowly add the powder into the liquid.
Mix until smooth: Use a mechanical stirrer or paddle to mix the material until a uniform, lump-free slurry is formed. Avoid air entrapment.
Apply with brush or roller: Use a soft brush or roller to spread the first coat in one direction (either vertical or horizontal).
Ensure even coverage: Avoid pinholes or uneven patches. The first layer should be consistent.
Allow curing: Let the first coat dry for 4–6 hours, depending on ambient temperature and humidity.
The second cote application is recommended for effective and long lasting results it direction timeline will be assessed after seeking on ground conditions of the first coat. for further assistance please contact our support team to achieve desired outcome.
Maintain thickness: Ensure the total thickness meets the product’s recommended application standard. not too thin nor too thick.
✅ Flexible
✅ Strong adhesion to concrete, plaster, and masonry
✅ Withstands water pressure
✅ non-toxic formulation
✅ Simple brush or roller application
Curing is crucial: Proper curing enhances membrane performance and longevity. Avoid exposure to water or foot traffic before full curing.
Mix complete units: Always use the full quantity of Part A and Part B together for accurate chemical reaction and product performance.
Follow recommended mix ratios: Avoid thinning or altering the mix unless specified in technical data sheets.
